Model molecules of metalloproteins often do not exhibit the same properties as the target protein. One of the possible reasons for the low activity is a distortion of the structure of the active center. Methods for measuring the electronic structure of metal complexes under control of molecular structure can reveal the origin. Therefore, we measured the conductance of ammonium tetrathiomolybdate solution in order to elucidate the conduction of metal complexes via single-molecule junctions by the MCBJ method. The measurements yield two conductance states of 7×10-2 G0 and 2×10-1 G0.
