[22a-P03-7] Modeling of gas molecules kinetics using self-propelled ion gels: pressure equilibrium

We modeled the gas molecules kinetics in the presence of a pressure difference using a self-propelled ion gel multibody system. Ion gels with a diameter of 2 mm were introduced into the left (10 pieces) and right (20) blocks. We observed the motions of ion gels after mixing and analyzed their distributions depending on time. The ion gels were evenly distributed into the left and right blocks in a couple of seconds. The experiment visualizes a process leading to pressure equilibrium.
