Because of the large ground-state splitting, lead-vacancy center (PbV) in diamond is expected to reduce the phonon dephasing, which are considered the main source of decoherence. Therefore, long spin coherence time might be achieved at higher temperatures. The measurements on the spin properties require the resonant exicitation to the spin-selective optical transition with an external magnetic field. In this study, we observed the spin-selective resonant optical transitions by photoluminescence excitation (PLE) of PbV center under the magnetic field.
