Raman spectroscopy has rapid measurement speed and high chemical species discrimination in gas analysis, but its detection sensitivity is low due to its small Raman scattering cross section. To solve this problem cavity-enhanced Raman spectroscopy has been studied. In this study, we measured the Raman intensity enhancement factor of cavity-enhanced coherent Raman scattering relative to cavity-enhanced spontaneous Raman scattering.
