While gas analysis methods based on Raman spectroscopy have rapid measurement speed and high chemical species discrimination, the low efficiency of Raman scattering light generation and the background are problematic. In this study, we develop a Raman spectroscopy using a hollow-core anti-resonant fiber to solve these problems. Using ultra-short pulse light as pump and seed light, we observe strong Raman light from coherently excited gas molecules. The final goal is to realize a highly sensitive ultra-trace gas analysis method based on this spectroscopy.
