The dimension of organic-inorganic perovskites can be easily controlled by adjusting the composition of organic amine and lead iodide. While the superiority of the quasi-two-dimensional (q-2D) perovskite microcrystals for hydrogen generation compared to two- and three-dimensional compounds was demonstrated, hydrogen trapping due to the deposition of microcrystals was a problem. In this study, hydrogen generation using q-2D thin films was investigated.
