Metal halide double-perovskite semiconductors are attracting attention as a new solar cell material that is environmentally friendly and highly stable.
However, they have a band gap (BG) that is too large to be suitable for practical use. In this study, we prepared samples of Cu doped single-crystal double perovskite with direct-type BG, which is expected to modulate BG, and investigated their photophysical properties.
In the talk, we will also discuss the difference of doping effects between direct and indirect BG samples.
