Recently, nano-optics based on Mie resonance in dielectric nanoparticles, Mietronics, has attracted much attention. High-refractive-index dielectrics with strong Mie resonance are useful as materials for nanoarrays that can enhance the emission of phosphors and control the emission directionality using surface lattice resonance (SLR). In this study, we investigated a method to fabricate nanoparticle arrays from 3C-SiC crystal thin films with high refractive index and transparency in the near UV region and evaluated their optical properties.
