We have been developing a pnCCD as a focal plane detector for a wide-field X-ray monitor to be mounted on the HiZ-GUNDAM satellite for early universe exploration. pnCCD is a candidate device for this mission because of its high sensitivity to low-energy X-rays and high frame rate. In this study, we performed the noise study to be designed the pixel size of the device for the satellite based on the lower limit of energy at which noise and emission lines can be discriminated.
