Existing information and communication systems have reached their limits in data transmission and processing capacity. We are studying and developing a current-implanted laser with two-dimensional photonic crystal (PhC) circular defects (CirD) to solve this problem. when current is injected through the AlGaAs funnel at the center of the CirD resonator, Whispering Gallery Mode (WGM) is The area of the AlGaAs funnel can be controlled by adjusting the oxidation time of AlGaAs to AlGaOx. An appropriate range of oxidation widths is important to ensure low electronic resistance and threshold. In this study, we fabricated CirD lasers with different oxidation widths and experimentally clarified the optimum oxidation width based on the relationship between the threshold power by optical excitation and the oxidation width.
