Toward realizing practical optical quantum computations, we proposed a novel low-loss high-repetition rate optical switching methodology using selective quantum teleportation (QT). As the first step of its demonstrative experiment, we conducted a generation experiment of the EPR state, which is a resource of QT, and measured a strong quantum correlation of 7 dB. Moreover, we did a simulation of QT using the generated EPR state, and found out that the threshold of the optical loss of the experimental system to preserve the nonclassicality of the input state was experimentally realistic enough.
