The accuracy of humidity measurement has recently become necessary in various applications such as automobile manufacturing. To meet this need requires primary humidity standards to accurately calibrate hygrometers used in such applications. The primary standard in the dew-point range of -10 ℃ to 95 ℃ was established in Japan almost 20 years ago by developing a high humidity generator. Although the standard uncertainty of the generated dew-point was estimated from 15 mK to 43 mK at that time, there was the possibility of reducing it. For instance, some uncertainty components of measuring instruments used in the generator, which were overestimated in the analysis because of the lack of the experimental data, were considered to decrease with the data accumulated after the analysis. In this study, we revisited the uncertainty analysis of the dew point generated by the generator to investigate the possibility of reducing the uncertainty and to understand the dominant uncertainty components. The standard uncertainty of the generated dew-point estimated in this study was 10 mK or less in the entire generation range, which was less than half of that evaluated previously.
