Poly(heptazine imide) (PHI), a carbon nitride polymer, is one of the promising photocatalytic materials in recent years.
In this study, we synthesized several PHI with different metal ions and measured their carbon dioxide decomposition reactions in preparation for the application of PHI as a photocatalyst. As a result, it was confirmed that carbon monoxide was produced with high selectivity. In the presentation, the usefulness of PHI for carbon dioxide decomposition will be discussed in detail.
