For developing high-performance fuel cells, for example, Pt catalysis on Gd doped CeO2 support is developed. We have measured X-ray small angle scattering and performed reverse Monte-Carlo analysis to construct three-dimensional structural models by matching the calculated scattering patterns with that of measured. The obtained models enable us to analyze aggregation of the catalysis system and association states between Pt and CeO2 nanoparticles. As a results, we could determine pore size distribution, pore connectivity, and amounts of Pt particles that uniformly distributed.
