In this study, we directly observed the formation and behavior of nano water droplets on glass surfaces in a humid environment using high-resolution atomic force microscopy. It was demonstrated that the growth and disappearance of these nanodroplets are reversible with humidity changes, revealing their surface diffusion and coexistence with liquid films. These findings provide crucial insights into understanding heterogeneous wetting phenomena on glass surfaces and offer clues to elucidate mass transport systems governed by water behavior on solid surfaces.
