Sumanene is a hydrocarbon molecule (C21H12) with bowl-shaped features. Based on simulations using Sumanene, we have fabricated an Al/graphene/Sumanene/graphene/n+-Si/Al stacked structure. I-V (current-voltage) measurements indicate that the memory property is due to the resistance change. However, it is not clear whether this memory property is due to Sumanene. In this study, we will fabricate comparative devices with a focus on stacked structures using Sumanene, with the aim of experimentally clarifying whether Sumanene plays a role in memory operation.
