The direction of OCS molecules was controlled with nanosecond two-color (fundamental & its second harmonic components) laser pulses. The relative phase between two color components was stabilized via feedback in order to provide the anisotropic control potential. The field-free condition was realized by rapidly truncating the control pulses with plasma shutter technique. The rotational dynamics of OCS molecules after the truncation was measured by the Coulomb explosion imaging technique, and the recovery of the angular distribution was observed after the rotational period of OCS molecules.
