Mechanical stimulation affects the heart. Therefore, we developed a device that can control the phase of stimulation using feedback the autonomous beating of cardiomyocytes in real time and investigated the effects of mechanical stimulation on cardiomyocyte assemblies. One-dimensional cardiomyocyte assemblies were created using HH26 chicken hearts. In this presentation, we will focus on the sensitivity to external stimuli, examining how it varies based on both the amplitude and timing of the stimuli. We will delve into the transient changes in autonomous beating that these stimuli induce and explore the subsequent recovery processes.
