optical frequency comb

Conventional spectroscopy in the long-wavelength infrared region uses Fourier transform spectroscopy with a thermal light source. In contrast, dual comb spectroscopy is superior to conventional Fourier transform spectroscopy in terms of bandwidth, resolution, acquisition time, and spectral sensitivity, on the other hand, the system is complex and large. To solve these problems, this study addresses the generation of optical combs in the long-wavelength infrared region using a bidirectional dual-comb fiber laser.
