We have studied a spinning method of carbon nanotubes (CNTs) using a gas discharge breakdown. In this method, a lot of CNT dust created by irradiating a gas discharge breakdown to a CNT mat. The CNT dust is collected at an electrode that is positively biased and the spinning is carried out. It is expected that this method enables spinning of various kinds of CNTs that were difficult to spin by conventional spinning method. A CNT yarn formed by this method will be presented.
