Decorated Membrane Resonator(DMR), a type of acoustic metasurfaces, are expected to be a new sound absorbing device utilizing hybrid resonance between membrane and air layer. However, narrowband resonance effect and low durability by exposed membrane are regarded as problems. We focused on two types of resonant structures, a Helmholtz resonator, which is a classical soundproofing mechanism, and a periodic array structure with a cavity to generate a localized mode. By mounting these structures in the upper part of the DMR membrane, we have designed a new structure with multiple-resonant effects.
