超薄膜GaAs太陽電池に光閉じ込め構造を導入することで、理論的には100 nmの吸収層膜厚でほぼ全ての光を吸収できると計算されている。そこで本研究では100 nmの吸収層膜厚をもつ太陽電池を実際に作製した。また光閉じ込めのための裏面テクスチャ構造を、作製条件を変えて導入し、光吸収量の増加に適したテクスチャ構造の作製条件を調べた。
