NMR has the problem of low sensitivity. In particular, detection of 13C is even less sensitive than detection of 1H, the standard for NMR measurements. However, its many advantages call for increased sensitivity. One of ways to improve sensitivity is to use HTS in the RF coils. In this study, HTS RF coils 13C-optimized HTS RF coils for 5 mm sample was designed using an electromagnetic field simulator, taking into account all of the following factors: uniformity of the RF field, influence of the sample to be measured, and uniformity of the static magnetic field.
