Plasmon resonance excited in a gold nanoplate strongly confines the optical electromagnetic field in the vicinity of the plate, forming an enhanced optical chiral field. In this study, we performed the three-dimensional visualization of the optical chiral field near the plate using an aperture-type scanning near-field optical microscope. We revealed that the optical chiral field visualized near the plate remains its spatial characteristics even at a distance of several hundred nm from the plate, while the signal intensity significantly decreases with the distance.
