We are working on the implementation of a physical reservoir computing system by using quantum dots and the FRET generated between them. The input of the system is encoded into the modulation of the irradiation light; however, so far, time modulation alone has been used. In this study, we propose an input method using spatial optical patterns with time modulation. This is expected to change the reservoir response. Numerical results show that the prediction performance is improved by using the spot-array pattern input.
