This study employs a high-throughput micro-melting system to investigate the effects of ZrO2 addition on the glass structures within Na2O-CaO-SiO2 (NCS) and K2O-CaO-SiO2 (KCS) systems. Transparent samples were obtained in NCS up to 16 mol% ZrO2 and KCS up to 13 mol%, after which opaque samples appeared at higher concentrations. Raman spectra showed Si-O-Zr peaks around 980 cm-1 at 1-2 mol% ZrO2, exhibiting increased intensity with increasing ZrO2 concentration. Noteworthy is the observation that NCS exhibited a more gradual alteration in the glass network structure with ZrO2 addition compared to KCS, suggesting a more significant potential for ZrO2 incorporation.
