Through a series of presentations at JSAP conferences, I have developed a new theory on dressed photon (DP) that can be generated by nonlinear field interactions between light and material fields. The key ingredient of my theory is the involvement of spacelike momentum fields so far uninvestigated. Such a new insight on DP dynamics has, unexpectedly, expanded the scope of my research to include cosmology. In this presentation, I will briefly explain the emergent mechanism of spacetime through conformal symmetry breaking and how it is related to DP dynamics. By doing so, I will propose a new hypothesis on the creation and annihilation of DP.
