What is essential to understanding the behavior of dressed photons as a quantum field is the structure of their observable algebras. From the perspective of algebraic quantum field theory, a quantum field is considered to be a correspondence between a space-time region and an algebra of physical quantities that satisfies appropriate axioms. In this talk, we will use the concept of category algebra to clarify how the structure of the spacetime/observable algebras in this sense is given to dressed photons.
