Superconductivity
Our group developed a heater diamond anvil cell (DAC) that enables high-pressure synthesis and in-situ electrical resistance measurement, and revealed that In3-xS4 exhibits superconductivity at 16 K. However, the observed superconducting transition is broad, and it is necessary to improve the superconducting properties by optimizing the synthesis conditions. In this study, we succeeded in observing superconductivity with a small transition width and Tc = 17.7 K through X-ray diffraction measurements and multiple heatings under high pressure.
