Self-assembled monolayers (SAM) are utilized widely to layered devices such as OLED, OFET, organic for alignment of molecular levels. We realized resonant tunneling devices using nanoparticle bridge via SAM. The behavior of SAM is analyzed by Kelvin force microscopy and current-voltage characteristics.
