WTe2 has attracted attention not only for its giant magnetoresistance and pressure-induced superconductivity but also for its ferroelectric properties. The ferroelectricity of WTe2 has been observed in both atomic layer thin films and bulk, making it particularly intriguing. In this study, we investigated the phonons appearing in bulk WTe2 using Raman spectroscopy (the spectroscopic measurements were conducted down to 5 cm-1). We observed a novel Raman peak (A1) at approximately 9 cm-1. Furthermore, the obtained angular dependence of the Raman intensity allowed us to acquire information on the complex Raman tensor components.
