Bioabsorbable polymer is useful as a material for medical devices used in the body, and the precision processing technology for device miniaturization is being developed. In particular, microneedles made of bioabsorbable polymer have been attatched attention as a minimal invasive drug delivery technology from a safety perspective. In this study, we are working on research aimed at applying microneedle technology as a biological measurement device. So far, we have been studying optical systems to perform optical measurement in the body using a high aspect ratio microneedle that can be reached in the blood vessels under skin, but there are issues in the process of molecular probe fixation to microneedles. This time, in order to realize a fluorescence measurement system at the microneedle tip, we examined the fabrcation process of microneedles with fluorescent gel at the tip.
