We created a field effect transistor (MoS2-FET) using molybdenum disulfide (MoS2) as a channel material, and after adsorbing cupper naphthalocyanine molecules (CuNPc) on its surface, we irradiated it with monochromatic light to increase the drain current. By plotting the increased drain current against the wavelength of the irradiated light, a photoresponse spectrum could be obtained. We considered the possibility of molecular sensing using the optical response of MoS2-FET based on the difference in spectra before and after molecular deposition.
