Reservoir computing (RC) has attracted much attention due to its low computational cost. Recently, a method has been proposed to process sensor signals directly in the analog domain by integrating a sensor and reservoir device. Such an architecture is called in-sensor RC. In this presentation, we will evaluate the performance required for reservoirs, such as short-term memory characteristics of PEDOT:PSS gel, and report on its usefulness in in-sensor RC applications.
