By applying quantum entanglement phenomenon of light waves to LiDAR technology, it is expected that object detection capabilities can be improved even under adverse weather conditions such as fog, rain, and atmospheric turbulence. In this study, we developed a two-mode squeezed light source with quantum entanglement effects and conducted an evaluation experiment on its tolerance to fog. As a result, we successfully demonstrated for the first time that quantum entanglement effects remain in light waves even after passing through fog with a transmittance of 50%.
