In this study, we investigated the improvement of Si solar cell efficiency using a low-temperature, non-vacuum process with PEDOT:PSS, as an alternative to the conventional p-n junction formation that requires high temperature and high vacuum conditions. In particular, we introduced a bilayer structure composed of PEDOT:PSS films with different PSS contents and evaluated in detail the effect of the PSS content in the first layer on device performance. It was found that a higher PSS content in the first layer improved the open-circuit voltage, while using a highly conductive second layer maintained the current density, thereby significantly enhancing the overall power conversion efficiency.
