To achieve bacterial test for bloodstream infection within one hour, we are developing microfluidic device-based gene testing system. Here, in our testing flow, we report about DNA detection using microfluidic microarray. To achieve multiplex test, we investigated target DNA labeling methods that enables rapid DNA detection under 40-plex PCR primers. We selected a labeling method using fluorescent Streptavidin (SA) which could reduce background noise. Using fluorescent SA method, we achieved target DNA detection in 4.5 minutes.
