Two-phase laminar flows of He gas and pure water have formed in a rectangular minichannel with a channel cross section of 1×1 mm2 and a length of 20 mm by using a T-junction type gas-liquid mixer. After that, pulsed He discharge has generated over the entire minichannel between immersed Pt wire electrodes of φ0.25 mm. Decolorization of an indigo carmine solution was performed using the prototyped gas-liquid interfacial plasma reactor. These results suggest that OH radicals are generated in He plasma-water two-phase flows.
