In response to the increasing power consumption of IT devices due to growing data traffic, this study focuses on a metalens operating in the telecom wavelength band. We evaluated the impact of fabrication errors—such as dimensional variations and thickness fluctuations—on its performance using FDTD simulations. Structural dimensions were extracted from SEM images of the fabricated device and compared with simulation results. Robust design was shown to suppress performance degradation, demonstrating the metalens's potential as a viable alternative to conventional bulk optics.
