In Raman sensing of biological tissues, strong autofluorescence significantly reduce the accuracy of lesion classification and quantitative measurement. Shifted Excitation Raman Difference Spectroscopy (SERDS) has been proposed as a method to separate Raman signals from autofluorescence. In this study, we aim to clarify the effect of SERDS, which contributes to noise reduction through multiple averaging, and to propose a method to extract Raman spectra from samples that are difficult to measure due to strong autofluorescence.
