D-amino acids, which exist in trace amounts in the body, have been shown to have potential as biomarkers for renal insufficiency, dementia, heart failure, tumors, and the worsening of viral infections, and there is a demand for the development of POCT diagnostic devices with excellent operability and sensitivity for early diagnosis and prognosis prediction at the diagnostic site. Here, we report on the selective and highly sensitive measurement of D-amino acids using an electrochemiluminescence biosensor and enzymes.
