Plasma-activated lactated Ringer’s solution (PAL) has attracted attention as a novel cancer treatment, however, whether cancer cells can acquire resistance to PAL remains unconfirmed. Therefore, we investigated changes in PAL sensitivity based on cell viability in P-MCF-7 cells, which were generated by repeatedly treating human breast cancer cells (MCF-7) with PAL. The results showed that P-MCF-7 cells exhibited reduced sensitivity to PAL. However, the degree of resistance is considered to be relatively small.
