In this study, we investigated an optically gated graphene/CNT hybrid device that utilizes the change in current detected in the graphene layer due to the electromotive force generated when the CNT receives THz waves. The received current observed in the graphene layer when irradiated with THz waves of 577 μm wavelength was significantly improved by using a hybrid stacked device structure. We also verified a similar receiving operation in the communication wavelength band.
