The ultimate goal of exoplanetary science is the discovery of Earth-like exoplanets and the detection of biosignatures. For achieving this goal, high-contrast imaging techniques are required to suppress bright light from a star near an exoplanet. The high-contrast imaging technique mainly consists of a coronagraph, wavefront sensing and control technique, and post-processing technique to suppress diffracted light due to a telescope pupil, scattered light due to wavefront aberration, residual light due to other factors, respectively. In this presentation, I will report on the development of high-contrast imaging techniques.
