An excited state of oxyluciferin is formed from luciferin in the presence of adenosine triphosphate (ATP), O2, Mg+, and the enzyme luciferase, and chemiluminescence is detected in the transition process to the ground state. So far, the luminescence enhancement has been observed at a pitch (Λ) of 480 nm in a plasmonic chip with a silver-coated periodic structure compared to a flat silver substrate. In this study, we investigated the plasmon enhancement of luciferin luminescence and the detection angle dependence of luminescence.
