Light-addressable potentiometric sensors (LAPS) enable imaging of target chemical species by measuring the potential change in the area irradiated by light. However, conventional LAPS using silicon substrates are thick and hard, which can damage biological tissues, posing a challenge for application. In this study, we proposed a flexible organic LAPS (OLAPS) consisting of a PEDOT:PSS transparent electrode layer, a bulk heterojunction organic semiconductor layer, and a parylene insulating layer, and demonstrated the proof of concept.
