Low-temperature waste heat below 200 °C is abundantly generated in industrial processes, yet much of it remains unused. This study theoretically investigates a thermophotonic power generation (TPX) system using perovskite semiconductors for efficient recovery of such heat. The system utilizes non-equilibrium thermal radiation and is capable of far-field operation, which distinguishes it from conventional TPV systems. Based on fluctuational electrodynamics, we analyzed radiative energy transfer and demonstrated that multilayer structural optimization enables energy conversion efficiencies exceeding 80% of the Carnot limit.
