Water, which constitutes approximately 70% of the human body, is fundamental in various physiological processes. Recent studies have suggested that the fluid flow in the brain may contribute to the clearance of wastes. Understanding fluid dynamics in the brain has great potential for elucidating the mechanisms of neurodegenerative disorders. However, these dynamics remain poorly explored. In this symposium, we introduce the current topic of the potential function of fluid dynamics in the brain and highlight the potential of Raman scattering imaging in studying water dynamics in living brain tissue.
