The discovery of nickel-based superconductors La3Ni2O7 and La4Ni3O10 has drawn considerable attention to the Ruddlesden-Popper (RP) phase. In our previous presentation at the Spring Meeting, we reported a new RP-phase oxychloride compound, Sr3Ni2O5Cl2. In this study, to investigate the general structural stability of this crystal system, we synthesized and analyzed the crystal structure of (Ba1-xSrx)3Fe2O5Cl2, which contains Jahn-Teller-inactive Fe3+ ions.
