Persistent homology is known as an effective method for quantitatively evaluating the structural characteristics of materials. In this study, we have applied persistent homology to molecular dynamics shear analysis to investigate how structural shape influences shear phenomena. By analyzing the relationship between shear behavior and topological features extracted through persistent homology, we aim to uncover new insights into the nanoscale shear phenomena.
